Housed in premium-quality brushed stainless steel, this electric kettle quickly boils up to 1-4/5 quarts of water for coffee, tea, instant soups, and more. Its immersed 1500-watt heating element provides a rapid and quiet heating process, while a "ready" bell indicates when the water has begun to boil. There's no need to worry about leaving it on, the kettle automatically shuts off when the water boils, and its boil-dry protection keeps the unit from boiling when there's no water left. With the press of a button, the cushion-controlled lid opens for convenient filling at the tap, and a removable "scale filter" reduces the amount of calcium in water to ensure great taste.
